  1. Thank you for this list! It's awesome! Great work!

For the real deep divers in the group, there's always the Guided by Voices database, which has come in handy on more than one occasion: http://gbvdb.com

  6. I've been making my way through all the Pollard releases since January and I've found this site quite helpful in making sense of all of this, thanks! I made a playlist on Spotify of every song you gave a "5" rating for shuffling and I've been enjoying it, thought I'd share it if anyone was interested:

There's also my own personal "best-of" playlist, which is still a work in progress:

  7. This website is completely incredible. Thanks for all your informative work. I have and will spend tons of time here. Any chance of a Live in Daytron ? review?

    1. Thanks so much for reading and for the good words. Really appreciate it. No Live in Daytron? on the horizon. Staying away from any live recordings, unofficial bootleg stuff, and any other off-shoots of non-Pollard related work for the time being. Once navigated in review, those rabbit holes become endless. Thanks again!

  8. Obviously any complaints about specific rankings or typos would be picking nits. ;) This is a wonderful breakdown of Uncle Bob's work, and I applaud your efforts over the years.

One thing, though, that comes up time and again:

It's CANON. A cannon is a big gun. A body of collected and curated data is a canon. You're far from the only person to ever do this; I'm sure this particular error has existed for as long as both canons and cannons have been in existence. Just distracting is all; and I like your blog so much I'd rather not be distracted.

  9. Hi, first of all congrats on the amazing and detailed reviews of all things GBV/Pollard, then just wondering why you never wrote anything about "Ogre's Trumpet".
    Thsnks again.

    1. Hey thanks! I actually mention "Ogre's Trumpet" in this section http://unclebobsongfactory.blogspot.com/2013/05/gbv-lp-bonus-tracks.html but only reviewed "Saturday's Child" I stayed away from reviewing all of the live records on here, just writing blurbs about any officially released cover songs on the records. Thanks for reading!

    1. Oh damn! That's a hell of an oversight on my part. Love Jimmy Mac! Going up now. Thank you!
